Wok & Surf
It starts with the scent of sizzling ginger and garlic drifting into the evening air. Then the first bite hits — bright, bold, and unapologetically flavourful. Wok & Surf isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a portal from El Paredon’s black sand streets to the bustling food stalls of Bangkok or Beijing - no passport required.
Founded by Alex, a French Canadian chef who fell in love with this little surf town, Wok & Surf brings bold pan-Asian flavours to the heart of El Paredon. Think mouth-watering nem (crispy spring rolls), delectable wok-fried rice, and noodles laced with spice and crunch - all made fresh to order and served in a breezy, open-air setting that’s both unpretentious and unforgettable.
And on some special Fridays, the vibe shifts from laid-back to electric. Oftentimes local and international DJs turn the space into a full-blown audio-culinary experience - where dancing barefoot and slurping noodles go hand in hand. It’s flavour, rhythm, and energy, all in one delicious spot. Que rico!
