Surfista Cafe

There’s a stillness in El Paredon that only early mornings can offer  - the sound of waves in the distance, the soft hum of a blender, and the smell of coffee drifting through the air. Surfista Café feels like an oasis tucked into the rhythm of the town  - calm, connected, and quietly cool.

Founded by local surfer Damian, Surfista is more than a café - it’s a local favourite, a co-working hideaway, and a daytime hangout with serious soul. With a small menu packed with flavour and intention, this spot celebrates Guatemalan ingredients with international flair - think fresh smoothie bowls delicious paninis, and some of the best coffee in town. You’ll likely meet Damien behind the bar, Greg breezing in and out on his bike, or one of their longtime friends from the community dropping in for a chat.

Whether you’re just arriving or need to reset after a night out, Surfista is the place to ease into the day - laptop or latte in hand, barefoot and smiling.
